Boomers Expect to “Work” After Retirement

Based on a survey by AARP, 80% of boomers ages 45 and older expect to continue working after retirement in some form. Working provides many rewards such as social interaction, purpose, feeling of pride, new friends, increased self-esteem, structure, a regular paycheck and health coverage.
