This year Aiken, South Carolina turns 175 and a couple hundred neighbors and friends have been planning one heck of a birthday party with more than 25 events from January to December.
The year is broken into four quarters separating themes that highlight some of the most important aspects of Aiken.  HISTORY, HORSES, HEALTH AND HIGH SOCIETY (January - March), ART, EDUCATION AND ENTERTAINMENT (April - June), BUSINESS, INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY (July - September), & to end the year AIKEN’S FUTURE (October - December). So get ready for a birthday year filled with events to salute the sights, sounds and people who make this small city so wonderful.  There is something for everyone and here is just a few of the events you can participate in throughout 2010.
