Sunset Stroll

Location: Starts at sign along the Dunes Drive at White Sands National Monument

Price: $3

Time: One hour before sunset which would probably be around 7:00 PM

A leisurely one-hour ranger-guided walk. Experience sunset over the white sands and see the plants and animals of the dune field. A photographer's delight.

Location: 4100 Dripping Springs Road

Time: Monday - Saturday 9 am - 5 pm, Sunday Noon - 5 pm

This will be in the Traditions Gallery through Aug. 21, 2011. Through the use of text, dramatic photographs, and oral histories, visitors are introduced to a story that came to symbolize the despair of the Great Depression Era.
