The Plaza Theatre presents Cabaret – Monday, March 15^th at 7:30pm

Tony-Award-winning musical, the pre-World War II tale life in a Berlin cabaret has not only been a successful Broadway production and revival, one of the memorable movie roles for stage icon Liza Minnelli. Features such hits as “Money, Money,” “Willkommen” and “(Life Is A) Cabaret.

Admission: $25-$48.50; plus applicable service fees and tickets can be purchased through TicketMaster.

 

The Plaza Theatre presents Bill Maher – Saturday, April 3^rd at 8:00pm

Bill Maher is probably best known for his current role as the host of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher as a political statirist.  However, he is also a comedian, author, and social critic.

Admission: $45.50- $75.50; plus applicable service fees

 

 

Pueblo Artist Workshop Series

Come to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuqerque for the Pueblo Artist Workshop.  You will explore the history of Pueblo textiles from the ancestral period to the modern.  Learn about the comparisons between Pueblo, Mexican and Guatemalan textile traditions and their constant production by Native communities across millennia.  Learn how to prepare, spin, and warp a Pueblo textile.

The workshop will take place on March 20 & 21 from 9-1:30 each day.  The workshop will be held at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center located at 2401 12th St. NW Albuquerque, NM 87104.  There is a limit to 15 people in the workshop.  Please make a reservation with Kay Ortega at 505-212-7052  no later than March 13, 2010 at 5pm.
