Six women gather at church during World War II to roll bandages and plan the church's 75th anniversary. Edith, the pastor's wise-cracking wife, oversees the activity. All the women hold secrets and secret longings. Twenty-five years later, the women reunite and reveal things that couldn't be said earlier. These six very different women find comfort, forgiveness and redemption in each other.
