Prescott Top Places to Retire - Talking Rock Ranch Top 50 Planned Communities

"We are thrilled by the accolades but not surprised," said Jim Jones, director of sales for Talking Rock. "We work hard to provide our residents with not only the best quality home products but also a community that's rich in activity and neighborhood camaraderie."

"There's always something happening at Talking Rock, from community-organized 4th of July barbecues to outdoor concerts. Our members even took it upon themselves to start an official welcoming committee for new residents. Talking Rock is really a friendly place to live."

Research for the Where to Retire list began nearly a year ago when editors gathered information on more than 150 communities across the nation and eventually zeroed in on those that are amenity-rich with clubhouses, recreation and activities to help residents stay fully engaged. In addition to places to retire in Arizona, the selection contains communities in 16 other states.

Talking Rock was recognized for its Western spirit and design, as well as for its Ranch Compound and accompanying activities, specifically the Ranch House restaurant. Talking Rock member Laurel Bailey also was quoted in the piece.
