The Explorers Club in Reno

London, 1879. The prestigious and rather stuffy Explorers Club is in crisis: their acting president wants to admit a woman (oh, my God!), and additionally their bartender is terrible and missing! True, the female candidate is brilliant, beautiful, and has discovered a legendary Lost City with its lost tribe of blue people, but the decision to let in a woman could shake the very foundation of the British Empire , and how do you make such a decision without a decent drink?

Performances are January 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, February 2, 3, and 4 at 7:30 p.m. and January 22, 29, and February 5 at 2:00 p.m.

Reno Hot August Nights

Every August, the streets of Virginia City, Reno and Sparks vibrate with the sound of muffled rumbles of rebuilt engines, rays of sunlight glinting off the polished chrome and heavy scents of Dapper Dan hair pomade fill the air. Droves of spectators line the sidewalks for a glimpse into the past, a time when a driver's license and a hot car were all anyone needed or wanted on a Saturday night.

Join us for a trip down memory lane or a new adventure. Whichever way you look at it, this nostalgic event has it all.

2016: August 2 - August 7

Reno Beer Crawl

If you're visiting Reno on the 4th Saturday of any given month, you will inevitably, and luckily, enter the wacky world of the Reno Beer Crawl. Purchase a commemorative cup or glass and get drink specials at as many as 20 different locations. It's an easy walk (or crawl) to each beer crawl location as they are all in the heart of downtown Reno.

1. Purchase Your Glass
For just $5, you get a wrist band, map & glass to use for $1 refills of 6 ounce samples (that's half a beer folks!) at multiple downtown Reno locations. Click here to buy tickets. The event starts at one of these participating merchants.

2. Walk (or Crawl) to your favorite downtown bars
All the bars are downtown, so everything is walking or crawling distance. At 6:15pm, there will be a raffle at The Waterfall. Fill out your raffle ticket for a chance to win $25 gift certificates to participating taverns.

3. Be Cool, Follow the Rules!
Please keep the booze off the streets! Reno prohibits open containers in public places & fines heavily those who don't obey. Please remember everyone is out to have a good time, so be cool like Fonzie!
