St. George, a Dream Spot to Retire

In 2006, AARP Magazine named St. George as one of the five "Dream Spots" to retire, and we can see why! With so many places to explore and activities to participate in, this is the dream spot for all ages alike. Inc Magazine just named St. George as the second best city for doing business. If you are looking for a big move, job growth and employment rates are important (even if you are retired and swear you will never work another day again). More St. George recognition came when AOL named it the "Best Small Place for Jobs." With a population of 126,000- it's ranked #1 for job growth.

Many gated and golf course communities surround this town. With luxury secluded areas to custom built homes in the mountains, there is surely something for everyone. BlackRock, Golf Course Community at Sunbrook has the most affordable luxury homes, not to mention spas, pools, putting greens, and tennis access. If you aren't ready to commit to buying a home here yet, a "Third Share" at Lava Falls Entrada is the perfect solution. You can enjoy 17 weeks a year here, in a 2 or 3 bedroom fully furnished home. Private pools, and membership to the onsite country club are a few of the perks to enjoy.

Outdoor activities are abundant here, and bike riding is one of the most popular. For the inexperienced rider, the Snow Canyon Loop, Bearclaw Poppy, and Bloomington Mircro-Loop are all fun options. For the more traveled rider, the Guacamole Trail may be just what you need. Eight miles in length, and open from mid-Febuary through December.
