St. George Art And Studio Tour

The new St. George / Art and Studio Tour is a free, self-guided weekend tour and celebration of the St George Art community! As part of a county-wide Art and Studio Tour season, it will run the 3rd week of the month, from Sept.-June.(In January, it will be part of the county-wide Arts to Zion / Art and Studio TOUR) Co-sponsored by the City of St George Arts Commission http://www.sgcityarts.org , St. George Area Tourism http://www.atozion.com and the Arts to Zion organization. It is held in collaboration with the City of St George Galleries, St George Art Museum, Art on Main/St George Utah Gallery Stroll, Art Around the Corner, DiFiore Center for Arts and Education, Electric Theater Arts Center and Southern Utah Art Guild. The Day Tour features artists working in their St George galleries, cooperatives and open studios on Friday and on Saturday 10-3 pm. The evening activities, hosted by the various St George arts organizations will be artistic celebrations you wont want to miss! The Art Around the Corner Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the arts, enriching the community, and bringing fine arts to the heart of historic St. George. The Art Around the Corner Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit is a collection of sculptures from nationally renown artists. Many of the sculptures are for sale, with new exhibitions installed annually.

Thursday Trek near St. George

Join a field institute naturalist for an introduction to the geology, flora, fauna, and cultural history of Zion. Foray into the park with a naturalist to learn about how animals and plants survive in Zion. Learn how the canyon was formed and the geologic activity still at work today. Interpretive hikes are the naturalist's choice with each program a unique outdoor learning adventure. Limited to 11 participants.

The Concert in the Park Series in St. George

Enterprise Rodeo near St. George

The Enterprise Rodeo is a 3-day amateur rodeo that started in the early 1900s and has been held every year around the 24th of July holiday since. This year's rodeos will be held on Thursday, July 24th, Friday, July 25th and Saturday, July 26th at 8:00pm nightly.

Events include Bull Riding, Calf Roping, Barrel Racing, and Team Roping. An average of 200 contestants compete nightly for prize money and approximately 6,500 rodeo fans will enjoy the cool mountain air, live music, and friendly atmosphere of the Enterprise Rodeo this year.

Downtown Farmers Market in St. George

Downtown Farmers Market is a free event featuring locally grown produce, eggs, meats, baked good and local arts and crafts. If it is locally made, you will find it at our Market. We are inside the square of Ancestor Square and have 25-35 vendors weekly through October.

Cars and Coffee in St. George

Cars and Coffee St. George is a casual gathering of like-minded auto, truck, and motorcycle enthusiast. Taking place the first Saturday from 10am to Noon, Cars and Coffee is a family friendly event that invites any and all car/trucks/motorcycles to Xotic Motorsports on 1792 South Blackridge Dr to hang out and enjoy free coffee and pastries while socializing in a casual car-show-like atmosphere with others. Uncle Sam 5K in St. George

Come run the second annual 4th of July Uncle Sam 5K! Course starts and finishes at the Dixie Sunbowl and runs along the parade route. Every participant gets an Uncle Sam hat, beard, and t-shirt!! Come run as Sam and with him at this fun, family-friendly event!! Registration fee includes your Uncle Sam hat (one size fits most!), beard and t-shirt. Pre-registration is accepted until Friday, June 27th. Late registration is open until Tuesday, July 1st for an additional $10 late fee.
