Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival

You're not dreaming, you're experiencing the enchantment of the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor State Park. The amphitheater is one of the most scenic venues in the world.

Two extraordinary productions offered in the 2015 season!
Your dreams become a reality this season as the Festival expands its season with two extraordinary productions that feature gorgeous costumes, stunning sets and one of the most talented professional acting companies in the West!
Shakespeare's beloved Romeo and Juliet, the greatest love story ever told. The powerfully poetic and tragic tale of love and loss will steal your heart and leave you breathless. Transcending the hate of warring factions, two young, star-crossed lovers risk all they have to be together.
The Fantasticks is the world's longest running musical and is a charming and romantic story about one young couple, two "feuding" fathers and an infinite love that transcends over time. The audience is whisked on a journey of imagination into a world of moonlight, magic and memory.

Monday Night Showcase
A different performance will be featured every Monday night at the diverse and exciting 2015 Monday Night Showcase. For the featured performances, click here. Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased online or by calling (800) 74-SHOWS.

Dining and Drinks
Enjoy gourmet dining and wine tastings at Shakespeare's Kitchen, or bring your own picnic. The main gate and amphitheater opens at 5:30 p.m. allowing early access to the concession area which includes Shakespeare's Kitchen, The Bar and BardWare (merchandise souvenirs). Arrive early and enjoy a pre-show cocktail, mingle with family and friends in the newly renovated and expanded dining area, marvel at the awesome views of Lake Tahoe or simply bask in the afternoon sunshine.
