Syndicus Team Type 2 Cycling Tour of North Carolina

Last year marked the beginning of an important initiative for Syndicus: a Type 2 Diabetes awareness program. Established as we wrapped up our services to the Western New York (WNY) HEALTHeLINK Beacon Community Cooperative Agreement Program, Team Type 2 was established to create a broader understanding of Type 2 diabetes, and how it can be managed effectively with diet and exercise.

Our inaugural event in 2013 was the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) Point Made! celebration ride, which commemorated the official opening of the GAP's final link between Washington, D.C. and Point State Park in Pittsburgh, Pa.

This year, Team Type 2 is hosting its own non-competitive awareness cycling event from Asheville to Wrightstville Beach, N.C., which will take place June 22 to 28.

The route, planned by Syndicus and Events Unlimited owner Seth Gernot will traverse quiet country roads and pass through cities/towns such as Statesville and Greensboro. Riders will log anywhere from 55 to 78 miles a day. A one-day option

Event Date: 06/22/2014
Event Time: 08:00 AM to 7:00 PM
