The Memory of Water by Shelagh Stephenson directed by Betsy Rudelich Tucker British playwright Shelagh Stephenson burst onto the scene in 1996 when her first published play The Memory of Water won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy. Hilarious and poignant, The Memory of Water tells a moving and sometimes mystical tale of a family reunited in the wake of a parents death.
